I started off by sketching out ideas and plans on procreate, I made storyboards and had ideas for how I wanted to attempt stop motion. Whether I do so with paper or clay, making a 3D figure or leaving everything flat. I decided to use Paranorman and Coraline as inspiration make a movable clay doll. I started with making the plans for the clay doll on sketch paper. I sketch out the details of how I wanted her to look and the size of the doll. I then watched some YouTube videos for help on how to make a clay motion doll, following those tutorials I made my first doll. I then got a camera from the library with a tripod. I wanted to incorporate some digital aspects so I decided to try to use greenscreens with my piece. I set up my character with my drawing tablet and computer on a greenscreen to see how well it worked and tried different angles as well and it turned out alight. So for the final I set up my IPad as another greenscreen and took pictures with the camera. I wanted a stormy weather with a fantasy forest meeting. So it's raining and storming and she's playing around and then accidently ventures into a magic realm where she meets a friend.
