The video I watched on stop motion animation was based around the animated film "Missing Link". I saw this video a long time ago and decided to use it as a reference for some ideas I will use for my stop motion animation. What made this video stand out was the time and dedication put in to making the film. Hundreds of hours were put into just making character models for the characters found throughout the film and trying to capture the movement of the characters probably took even longer. I haven't actually seen the film but watching the behind the scenes for the stop motion animation present has me interested in seeing the film. I also enjoyed watching the editing and software used throughout the video. It definitely showed that one person alone could not have completed this entire film which is why I appreciate the stop motion techniques present even more. Many of the scenes throughout the film focused on 1 character being on screen which probably made it easy to record certain scenes in the film. I don't think this takes away from the quality of the film and makes me appreciate the film more.
