I am responding to the Demon Slayer clip posted in our Google Doc. I thought this was a pretty cool video, especially because of the non-stop motion elements. The eyes, arms, and lighting were clearly edited beyond the capabilities of stop motion. Things like blinking, smearing, etc could not be accomplished with out other styles, so they added to the foundation of the stop motion technique. I would like to use multiple elements in my next project. Perhaps, I will use this as a reference, but I'm not entirely sure what my plan is yet. I do appreciate their blend of styles though, I personally think it compliments the stop motion perfectly. Often, with only simple stop motion elements, videos may feel a little uninteresting.
