 Week 1 Project 2 Story Board

This is my story board for my 2nd project. I wanted to focus on a short story that involved the 1st scene to start outside raining and then transition to one of my character's rooms where they will play video games.

Week 2 Project 2 Story Board Materials and Story Plan

This week I decided to gather all the materials I would use for this project.

I also decided to use materials that weren't just made out of paper. For example, I will use a real life hand towel to dry off one of my characters after they make it home from the rain scene.

   Week 3 Project 2 Materials and Pictures

For this week I decided to complete all the materials I was going to use for my stop motion animation. I made most of the materials during class. I've already designed different sets of clouds for my scenes as well as different sets of flowers.

                                                        Week 4 Project 2 Animation Process

For this week I decided to finally recording and capturing the frames of my stop motion animation. I've rented the camera for this week so I am going to focus on capturing as many scenes as I can then I will import the pictures to my editing software.

Week 5 Project 2 Progress

The project is due in 1 week and I am a bit nervous with some of the pictures I did for my stop motion on my camera so I decided to shrink the size of my background and use less props for my animation because I didn't realize how many pictures I would have to take just for a few seconds of animation. I've also decided to redo a lot of the pictures I've taken due to the quality of the picture not being to my liking. The editing process won't be too difficult because it is only a minor part of my project. Here is an example of the reason why I am redoing a lot pictures for this project. The lighting isn't bad but I need to change the settings on my camera.

Update: I have updated the settings on my camera and I have also decided to focus on my intro, outro, and transitions for this project. I've been using illustrator and photoshop to import and make gifs for my project.

For my project I decided to switch from the traditional camera to my regular phone camera because I wasn't satisfied with the quality of the other camera. I am a bit behind when it comes to taking pictures but I should have everything completed by Wednesday.
