Project 2_Matthew
For my second animation 2 project, I'm hoping to do a stop motion animation using 2D elements on post-it notes. I'm hoping to animate a scene where a stick figure runs across multiple pieces of paper and kicking a pencil or an eraser.
I have since changed my idea to my Raccoon character, as seen in my previous projects, moving around on notebook paper. To achieve this, I am doing my animation in Toonboom Harmony at 15 fps notebook paper size. After I finish, I will be printing out all of the frames and tracing them onto notebook paper, using a boiling effect.
Still working on my computer animation. I did a rotation
At long last, i have 173 unique frames. These aren't taking into account the 10 frames that i have labeled as "beats" which I will redraw 3 times each to create a boil effect. I've done the math, and if I draw about 12 frames every day, I will finish in time. However, this is not taking into account that these frames will get easier and easier to draw as time goes on, and they are all being traced which honestly isn't that time consuming. Plus, the weekends will let me draw way more than normal.
Day 1 of drawing saw the completion of 40 frames! lets keep it up!
Update Day 4 I finished 80 something drawings, but I don't have anything to work on in class, so I made this cat in Toon Boom Harmony
Day 7, I'm trying really hard to finish shading all of these but my hand is killing me from all of this
