Updated _Project 2_ Progress _Zoe Hagins
Week1: I came up with a theme and storyboard. The theme is rejection and I'm in the process of designing three characters. I going to use paper cutouts for the stop motion animation.
Week 2: I started drawing out the characters and one of the backgrounds. For the characters, I'm using color pencils for the skin and hair and washi tape for the clothes. For the background, I initially wanted to use black and grey construction paper to make the lockers but I might use watercolor and ink instead.
Week 3& 4: I continued working on all of my characters until I finished. I cut all of them out. The reason why some of the cutouts don't have mouths drawn on them is that I plan on drawing the mouths separate and cutting them, so when I start filming, I can change the mouths out for each frame to make it seem like I animated the mouths.
Week 6-today: I finished my backgrounds, found all of the audio I wanted to use, finished all of my dialogue, and filmed the stop motion. I also drew and cut out the mouths and other details for the dialogue. Then I went into the premiere and put all of the footage together, made a rough draft version of the final, reshoot one of the scenes, and then revised and exported the final video. I also added some scenes that I created using illustrator and After Effects.
