 Ian Cheng - Life After Bob

• To begin, I watch the trailer several times and I'm still lost, which I don't mind because it just makes me wanting to watch more.
• The trailer felt like a psychological thriller like Ghost in the Shell or Evangelion both of which I love
• It also makes me feels like a late night movie you would see on the Tv block Toonami
• I love the art style of the models. Lots of big names animations always go for this hyper realistic Disney/Pixar look and it's nice seeing something wildly different. Although I'm not sure how the style might appeal to a mainstream audience.
•  I like how they use colors in these scenes. Everything just felt so vividly and full of life, especially Bob
• As I said before, I'm not completely sure of the plot but I believe it follows the girl in the beginning named Ava, and Bob is like some Ai that controls her or at least interacts with her. The old man seems to be the creator of Bob and I think using it to control Ava. Their discussion in the beginning was him examining her mental state after bonding with Ava perhaps. The rest of the trailer are probably whats happens when Ava is with Bob
• The trailer was engaging I look forward to following this animation and se where it goes
