Update 6 - Basically done at this point. I ended up reusing footage, but I used effects to blend that in so it doesn't feel repetitive. I also added some movie footage to diversify the visuals. In the end, I have frame by frame drawings, moving psd collages, and live action video. Personally, I think this is a pretty fun combination! A little more time spent would have benefitted me in all honesty. But given my total inexperience with Premiere, I'm still very pleased with all that I was able to teach myself.

Update 5 - Another psd added and more effects learned. Radial blur transition effect looks nice (I forget the actual name). I learned how to use an overall effect layer, instead of just editing each one. I wish I had known that sooner. 

Update 4 - Most of my psd's are added now. Maybe a few more. 

Update 3 - Added some images and invert effects, etc. Having never used premiere, some of the tools are very difficult to get the hang of. Some online tutorials helped me out, and I'm reusing some footage to extend the runtime. All in all, it's coming together well.

Update 2 - Made lots of progress on the intro, spent many hours on some hand drawn animation assets. Need to work on psd's next, but for now - a great start.

Update 1 - Storyboard. This ended up being pretty accurate other than a few ideas. It was a very broad attempt. I wasn't too sure what I wanted at that point.
