I watched "The Beatles - Yellow Submarine" video. A big thing I liked about this video was the character designs. The characters were made in a more simple style which blended well with the vintage style of the animation. The vintage style of the animation is something that I am more interested in. The color pallet probably played the biggest role in the animation, as it used many bright colors keeping your eyes flowing all over the canvas. There were also some real photos mixed with hand drawn objects in some frames which is always an interesting tactic to use.
