     Seth Macfarlane is probably one of the most known names in the animation world. With his multiple hit animation TV series, Family Guy, American Dad, and The Cleveland Show, Macfarlane has found a way to become a pioneer in the animation culture. Now Seth Macfarlane has his hand mainly in voice acting the characters of the shows, its not known if he still animates Family Guy, but he still listed as an animator for the shows. A concept that Macfarlane made popular in his show Family Guy, was the concept of "cutaways". Cutaways are when something non-canon to the actual storyline, is shown in another smaller clip. Family Guy isn't the first show to use cutaways but it's definitely the most popular and first show that most think of when the term cutaway is brought up.
