Week 3_Response_Matthew

There was a lot that I loved with the Yellow Submarine original animation. For one, I really liked how the static non-moving things, like the backgrounds, had texture and patterns, while the moving parts remained solid colors. It's also worth mentioning that because of the way the frames were scanned in, you can see the different layers of the animation. For instance, the moving parts, like the Beatles, are painted like a traditional cel on a clear sheet. In the image I provided, you can see the computers are drawn with pen and maybe pencil. Then, everything is layered on top of the brown background that has a pattern. To me, the process almost feel cozy and tied all together.
