Week 3_Response_Julianna Tillman

 I am reviewing the "Collage Animation Project - Mr. Sandman." This animation video took a lot of skill to make. I enjoyed how it followed a dream-like theme with the amount of strange and random imagery throughout the video. I felt that the use of gardens and garden-themed objects like flowers and bees was strong at the beginning. However, I wish these carried through in the rest of the animation. The techniques used at the beginning of the video were impressive. For example, the individual beetles and bees running across the scene at different moments were very well-done. I could see the amount of work and time it took to animate these elements. On the other hand, the ending of the video is slightly underwhelming. The scenes in which the garden is slowly placed together is appears blocky and rushed. Meanwhile, the parts in which the large amount of eyes appear and disappear is far too long compared to other scenes. I would have preferred a more impactful ending to the animation rather than one which seems to be drawn out for time.
