Miyazaki Hayao is a very famous animator from Japan. He started animating at Toei  Animations in 1963. He worked there with other animators such as Takahata Isao and Ota Akemi. He left Toei in 1971 and worked at multiple studios throughout the 1970s with Takahata. In 1985, they launched Ghibli studios, and the following year, they release  Castle in the Sky in Japan and Nausicaa in the US as Warriors of the Wind. Unfortunately,  Warriors of the Wind didn't get many good reviews because of how it was edited and dubbed. It would be more than a decade when Miyazaki would consider another release in the west. Miyazaki and Studio Ghibli continued to produce for Japan; My Neighbor Totoro debuted alongside Grave of The Fireflies by Takahata. Both films were extremely successful. Then, he released Kiki's Delivery Service in 1989, Porco Rosso in 1992,  Princess Mononoke in 1997, which was a huge blockbuster, Spirited Away in 2001, which won multiple awards, and many more animated films after that, such as Howl's Moving Castle, Ponyo, and The Wind Rises. What's really amazing about his works is the art style and how smooth the animation is for every one of them. The art style is very whimsical and it draws attention from the viewers and the clean and smooth animation keeps the viewers hooked. His storytelling for every film he did is also phenomenal.
