Project 1_Heather

Story Board:

I went with the idea of horror and the feeling of watching for my story board. Eyes are heavily futured and I'm trying to get the uncanny valley feeling with my end project. 

This week I worked on concept as well as photoshop. I mainly used Photoshop to cut out objects and photos I might have used in the project.  I was also getting my ideas and theme together and getting used to photoshop. 

Progress 2:

I had edited the images in photoshop to make them look older and aged like those vintage photos. I also decided if the images would be colored or black and white or real or drawn. I was deciding my style for the piece so it would work together.

Progress 3:

I have put the first pieces into After Effects and began animating them. I wanted the spiders to move in the eye and for the eye to blink and zoom in. It took a lot of work to get the zoom to work with the eye as well as moving each individual spider.

I drew each slide for this as I wanted actual animation for my work. I went into procreate and wanted a black and white them. I had a baby rat give birth to babies with a eye opening. I had the intention of adding collage elements to each of them but I haven't gotten to that. I have put the videos into After Effects but they still need work.
